Anteria Mortimer started her career in healthcare at a young age by participating in the Future Health Professionals (HOSA) program in high school. She has built a robust career in healthcare since initiating her journey as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in 2012.
Engaging in hands-on patient care, she transitioned to Oak Harbor in Vero Beach, in 2015, further solidifying her path in the industry. Anteria is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and a Certified Montessori Dementia Care Professional, credentials that demonstrate her commitment to specialized dementia care.
In 2023, she achieved CORE training, enabling her to proficiently manage an assisted living facility. Concurrently, she is advancing her marketing knowledge at Eastern Florida State College.
Personally, Anteria is a Vero Beach native, and balances her career by spending quality time with her son, Carter, exploring local restaurants, and caring for her dog, Summer Rose. Her career is notably shaped by a passion for Alzheimer’s and dementia care, manifesting in continual learning and professional development.
